Visual Learning Models
General Description
A collection of visual learning models exploring different ways of representing complex language concepts. Each model uses a distinct visual strategy — such as categorisation, concept mapping, analogy, scale or metaphor — to make patterns and relationships easier to identify, organise and work with.

Every learning challenge invites a different design solution. Many of these visual learning models were created in response to real classroom needs, where abstract language concepts needed a clearer form of representation. Each model explores a different visual strategy, showing how categorisation, analogy, mapping, scale and metaphor can make relationships and patterns within language more visible and easier to work with.
